Thanks so much for stopping by. My hope is that you will be encouraged and comforted by traveling with us on this adventure as you see how God can take the challenges of life to assure us of the living hope that is available by faith to us all through Jesus Christ.

Thanks, also, to each of you who have personally ministered to me and my family through your thoughts, prayers of faith, visits, messages, many acts of kindness and words of encouragement, especially during those dark days, and then for the long haul during my extended recovery season.

Weary?

Take My yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  Matthew 11:29

What a special promise from the Lord that He will take care of us even when there are many demands around us if we will just rest in Him. Usually folks feel the pressue of too much to do especially during the Christmas season. 

We thank those of you who have sent prayer requests to us so that we can be praying with you about them. 

Again today Hu's body is quite weak and he had to leave his therapy session early to rest.  Please continue to pray for strength for him.  It is difficult when he wants to move ahead but isn't physically up to it.  I shared today's verse with Him and we'll meditate on it throughout today as we find our rest in the Lord and I hope it will be an encouragement to you as well.
