Blessed is the people whose God is the Lord! Psalms 144:15b
Our day started a little later today rather than with the usual wake up call by the nurse assistant needing to take vitals at 5:30 a.m. It has taken a bit of adjustment to get used to not having all the handicapped facitilies that we have been used to in the hospital. A good part of the morning was taken up with the home health nurse assessing Hu's needs and checking his wounds. It looks like we will have a busy schedule for the coming weeks with three different therapists and a nurse coming periodically during the week. We are thankful for the opportunity which will allow the therapy to be done at home rather than travelling to numerous appointments while he recovers.
We feel blessed by the Lord and by you our friends.
(ad-ven-ture: the encountering of danger; an unusual, stirring experience)
Thanks so much for stopping by. My hope is that you will be encouraged and comforted by traveling with us on this adventure as you see how God can take the challenges of life to assure us of the living hope that is available by faith to us all through Jesus Christ.
Thanks, also, to each of you who have personally ministered to me and my family through your thoughts, prayers of faith, visits, messages, many acts of kindness and words of encouragement, especially during those dark days, and then for the long haul during my extended recovery season.

We are so thankful to read that you are home from the hospital! You two are a great team and working together with God's help and strength you have achieved a great victory in Hu's health! We are praying for you to have a very blessed New Year filled with God's best for you and your family. Thank you for the news of David, John and James and their families.
ReplyDeleteAs you are recovering, please keep Cheryl and Jud Maxwell in your prayers. They have been advised that there is nothing else to be done medically for Cheryl and Hospice has been called in.
Trusting Him,
Don and Cathi
Jean and I rejoice with you on Hu's progress and the Lord's gracious mercy! We are so thankful because HIS faithfulness endures to all generations...we are dealing with our daughter's deep depression at present and seeking God's wisdom and healing for her.
