In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind. Job 12:10
I have been thinking about all the little things that I take for granted. Bathing, dressing, breathing, eating and countless others. Often I believe that I feel I am entitled to these things as a part of life. Today Hu learned how to bathe and dress himself while lying in bed. His breathing is labored and exhausting. We have seen a miracle in his life in recent weeks. What a great reminder to me that the Lord who has been restoring Hu's health is the same one that allows me to live day by day. I must not take either the gift of life or the giver of life for granted!
(ad-ven-ture: the encountering of danger; an unusual, stirring experience)
Thanks so much for stopping by. My hope is that you will be encouraged and comforted by traveling with us on this adventure as you see how God can take the challenges of life to assure us of the living hope that is available by faith to us all through Jesus Christ.
Thanks, also, to each of you who have personally ministered to me and my family through your thoughts, prayers of faith, visits, messages, many acts of kindness and words of encouragement, especially during those dark days, and then for the long haul during my extended recovery season.

Great point to think on today. Glad Hu is able to do these things and that we can all be thankful for the little things in each of our lives.
