His way is perfect, for all His ways are just: A God of faithfulness and without injustice, righteous and upright is He. Deut. 32:4
To the clapping and cheers of health care workers Hu received his certificate of graduation from rehab today. It is such a blessing to have him at home. We thank the Lord for His healing hand on him during these last seven weeks.
During part of Hu's hospitalization we were thankful for the provision of having our sons David, John, and James with us. We were also blessed one weekend to have our daughter-in-law, Emily, with granddaughter, Hannah, manage the details of our home. Our other daughters-in-law, Lisa and Christa, who live overseas, took care of extra responsibilities for the children and ministry while their husbands joined us. Just in time for Hu to be released from the hospital, James, Emily, and Hannah returned to assist us with the tranistion home. This is huge for me because James works in the medical field and is able to bridge the gap between the vigilance of the hospital staff and my lack of medical expertise.
The words of the song "Great is Thy Faithfulness" have been going through my head today. What a faithful God we serve.
(ad-ven-ture: the encountering of danger; an unusual, stirring experience)
Thanks so much for stopping by. My hope is that you will be encouraged and comforted by traveling with us on this adventure as you see how God can take the challenges of life to assure us of the living hope that is available by faith to us all through Jesus Christ.
Thanks, also, to each of you who have personally ministered to me and my family through your thoughts, prayers of faith, visits, messages, many acts of kindness and words of encouragement, especially during those dark days, and then for the long haul during my extended recovery season.

ReplyDeleteI am so happy to hear that! Congratulations!!!!
ReplyDeleteGod is faithful even when we do not deserve it! He showers us with His love and fulfills our needs.
Psalm 23 (all of it) is just what Hu and all of us need to swallow (passing the test), savor it slowly and as David says, just let Jesus be (E)ven if (N)othing (O)ut there H(U) looks (G)ood, (H)e is enough!
