This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24
God has done so much for us. Our family is encouraged and thankful for the improvement that we have seen in Hu's health recently. In the hospital I've seen so many people who suffer from long term conditions and and it makes me count my blessings and have compassion for them.
You may recall we asked for prayer back in February for our great nephew, Garren. He
suffered a ruptured Arterial Venus Malformation (AVM). He has made amazing strides in his recovery which truly is a miracle but among other difficulties he still suffers from not being able to swallow. That is tough at any age but I would think at 14 it must really be hard. I encourage you to pray for Garren and check out his story at www.geoffreyjanes.com.
Hu is able to relate a bit more now to Garren's situation since he did not pass his swallow test today. We know this isn't a surprise to God and it is all part of His plan. Please pray for Garren and for Hu that this ability would be restored to them.
(ad-ven-ture: the encountering of danger; an unusual, stirring experience)
Thanks so much for stopping by. My hope is that you will be encouraged and comforted by traveling with us on this adventure as you see how God can take the challenges of life to assure us of the living hope that is available by faith to us all through Jesus Christ.
Thanks, also, to each of you who have personally ministered to me and my family through your thoughts, prayers of faith, visits, messages, many acts of kindness and words of encouragement, especially during those dark days, and then for the long haul during my extended recovery season.
