Thanks so much for stopping by. My hope is that you will be encouraged and comforted by traveling with us on this adventure as you see how God can take the challenges of life to assure us of the living hope that is available by faith to us all through Jesus Christ.

Thanks, also, to each of you who have personally ministered to me and my family through your thoughts, prayers of faith, visits, messages, many acts of kindness and words of encouragement, especially during those dark days, and then for the long haul during my extended recovery season.

Shocking progress

Jesus replied, "What is impossible for man is possible with God." Luke 18:27

If God was limited in his power to do the things that were physically possible or imaginable for man, then we would have a pretty useless God. I'm so thankful God is not limited in that way, and we can expect him to do the impossible. This morning when the medical staff gathered to discuss Hu's progress they mentioned that they were shocked at how much he has improved in so little time. Praise God for Hu's "shocking" progress!

Today he went for his first walk in over 3 weeks! He walked to the end of the hall (about 40 feet). It took all the strength he had to do that much, and he was out of breath by the end. But, it was a great workout for day #2. The staff here have him on an aggressive plan to get him back on his feet and return to normal life.

Thank you for continuing to pray for Hu's healing and recovery. We look forward to watching God do the impossible and unimaginable!
