Who will win?

Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize?  Run in such a way as to get the prize.  Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training.  They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.  1 Cor. 9:24, 25

News reports focus on winning these days.  As Christians It is easy to get caught up in the flurry of activity and miss the whole point of being in this world but not of it.  For years my parents had a plaque in their home with the words, "One life will soon be past, only what's done for Christ will last".  How important it is to keep our eyes on Jesus and run the race that He would have us run.

Hu worked with his speech therapist today and is working toward his goal of a successful swallow test in the near future.

    When Hu passes that swallow test (which I am praying will be soon), you will hear my shout of joy all the way from Greenville!
