Thanks so much for stopping by. My hope is that you will be encouraged and comforted by traveling with us on this adventure as you see how God can take the challenges of life to assure us of the living hope that is available by faith to us all through Jesus Christ.

Thanks, also, to each of you who have personally ministered to me and my family through your thoughts, prayers of faith, visits, messages, many acts of kindness and words of encouragement, especially during those dark days, and then for the long haul during my extended recovery season.

Slow steps

I praise you because I am feafully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Psalm 139:14

High pulse rate and general exhaustion are the symptoms that Hu has had for the past couple of days.  He attributes them to the antiboitic that he is taking to help fight possible infection in his wounds.  It is hard to maintain any level of exercise with those symptoms and even the therapist was cautious today when she worked with him.  However, the good news is that when the nurse changed his dressings all of them show signs of improvement which is a great encouragement.  Even my "untrained eye" could see the difference in the largest of the three wounds.

Please join with us in thanking the Lord for another small step in his recovery.
