Tonight our Bible reading was 1Thessalonians 4 which gives instructions as to how to please God. Afterwards Emily asked Hu if he feels closer to the Lord as a result of his recent experience in the hospital. He said he does and apparently has more to share with us down the road when he is feeling better. I was touched as he prayed and thanked the Lord for the many people who have helped us during these past weeks.
Please continue to remember his sister Barbara who is very ill.
(ad-ven-ture: the encountering of danger; an unusual, stirring experience)
Thanks so much for stopping by. My hope is that you will be encouraged and comforted by traveling with us on this adventure as you see how God can take the challenges of life to assure us of the living hope that is available by faith to us all through Jesus Christ.
Thanks, also, to each of you who have personally ministered to me and my family through your thoughts, prayers of faith, visits, messages, many acts of kindness and words of encouragement, especially during those dark days, and then for the long haul during my extended recovery season.

We are so thankful that Hu is home and the James and Emily are there with you at the perfect time. What a blessing that much of his therapy can be done at home. Praying for continued healing and the amazing truth is, what a Happy New Year to have him here with us! Love to you all.
